So far I have found several different systems that automate link building.  Be aware that most of the links will come from low PR sites which may or may not be useful to your off-site SEO strategy.

So many options, aaahhh! What to do?

I must say that I’ve tried a few of these mainly LinkJuicer which I find super easy and automated, and even though I am not thoroughly impressed with the results yet, it did help get my money site with hardly any original content to no 7 in Yahoo in a few weeks, not rocket fuel but I just set it up and let it go.

I’ll keep trying different strategies and let you know what happens.

I just downloaded EVOII Software from Peter Drew, and I have to say I am quite impressed.

It is a wholly automated solution to linkbuilding, which at $157 per month as surprising as it may sound, I find it to be a reasonable price, taking into account the amount of time saved if I was to do all this work by myself or outsourcing.

1. First of all, the software automates the creation of yahoo email accounts, including aliases. The first of these accounts is for verification of accounts created in the next step.
2. It automates the creation of accounts in web 2.0 properties which include social sites such as Facebook as well as RSS aggregators and article sites. It will even solve captchas throughout this process.
3. Once the software has registered all these “main static” accounts, you will need to input the information of the site you are promoting as well as the keyword you want to rank for.
4. Next it pulls articles from UAW (unique article wizard) which are related to your main keyword.
5. Then you add information which it will use to post profile links.
6. At this point you choose form hundreds of profile and web 2,0 sites where you want EVOII to publish your spun articles and your links.

Hundreds of links completely automated!

Last but not least it will push rss feeds from all these posts to rss directories to get indexed faster.

I don’t know yet but I’m trying out the 7 day free trial and will post results later on.

You may not want to hear me complaining about Yahoo/Overture new Adwords-editor-like desktop tool, but it is certainly a mixed blessing.

It’s about time that Overture came up with a desktop based tool for editing ppc accounts.

Unfortunately it’s slow and full of bugs.

If you had cracked your head about importing your campaigns from adwords to Overture, suffer no more, this tool makes it as easy as finding the adwords editor export file in your folders. Except that when you want to upload to your account, it will throw a “campaign not recognized” error, what a piece of garbage, you can import into the desktop tool but not upload to your account.

Your only choice is to upload your adwords campaigns into Overture web interface (which will not load your keyword’s destination url data) and then download it to the desktop tool, which will only download your full account and may take a long time and erase any changes you had done in the desktop tool.

Next you will have to delete all the keywords in the campaign and replace them with keywords from an adwords editor file for the same campaign.

Then you will probably have to change your keyword’s destination url tracking data,  however when it comes to manipulating the data (changing tracking codes in the url, etc..) you are in for a big headache, you will find that the find and replace function is buggy, you may have to restart the interface just to replace a second batch of data as it hangs after this procedure.

It is a necessary evil since importing adwords data into Yahoo web interface will not keep your keyword level destination url’s.

I hope the Overture team improves on this tool, and make it a time saver instead of a waster.

One thing that I use to deal with adwords banned accounts is proxies.

My favorite up until now has been proxy bonanza which has a very affordable $4.99/month set of 10 proxies.

Unfortunately today they’re down and I am hoping they haven’t been shut down., We’ll see.

I was checking out the warrior forum for link wheels information and I came across a super interesteting software program which automates web 2.0 properties account creation, content posting, pinging, etc..

Unfortunately I have tried quite a few PPC conversion tracking applications, and I say unfortunately because up until now I haven’t found a piece of software that I have settled with.

There is very good and interesting attempts, but always something comes short, being a overly complicated system or lack of features in other cases.

I would classify PPC conversion tracking applications in two groups:

• Self Hosted.
  • You download the code, upload to your server, install a database, install the script, use and maintain. You pay once.
• Hosted.
  • Its hosted on the vendors servers, you upload your campaigns information and maintenance is on the vendor. You pay monthly.

As for myself, I will not touch the hosted version with a ten foot pole. (update: I did)  Why? Even if they sign it in blood, I have no guarantee that when I hit that million dollar campaign (and I will) or for that matter a ten grand campaign (which I have) that the vendor will not peek into my data and steal it. I am not willing to risk it, its like gambling a potential gold mine.

      1. Brilliant piece of software, this guys thought of (almost) everything.  (I’d like to see a feature where I could upload search network cost report insetead of having to update subid’s at the destination url every time a change is made in the searc account.

      4. Auto upload of affiliate network sales reports (through Stats202, I don’t know I would trust them with this)

      4. Have to update the tracking code at the search network destination url everytime there is a change in this one (yes even bid change).
5. Xtreme Conversions $97 + $50 for the pro version.
